Radiography using radiographic film is still one of the most common NDT Techniques being conducted world wide.
Aben continues to use tradional radiography in the inspection of welds, castings and thickness determination on a variety of materials for engineering, process plants and for defence in accordance with AS2177, AS2452.1 & .2, AS3507, ASME V, ASTM E94, ASTM E1030, ASTM E446, ASTM E186 and similar Standards.
Flash radiography is used to detect and determination of under insulation corrosion.

Our Radiographic personnel are ISO9712, EN473 or SNT-TC-1A certified and are extremely experienced in performing radiography and interpreting images in accordance with Australian, American and International Standards. Radiographic personnel also hold radiation licences for all Australian States.

- X-Ray Units from 160kV to 300Kv (including 160kV CP equipment)
- Flash X-Ray 300KV Units
- Portable mobile darkrooms and transportable containers
- Laboratory based processing and viewing facilities.
